England will become the new World No. 1 Test team if they win the third Test at Edgbaston, which starts on Wednesday, and take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the four-match series
Tremlett had missed the second Test at Trent Bridge due to back and hamstring problems.
He further said that he finds losing out on the odd game now is easier to deal with than it would have been four years ago.
"If I had lost my place four years ago I would have got quite down on myself and quite depressed but I'm not now," the fast bowler said.
"The great thing is that someone like Bressie can come in and do a good job, and that makes you more hungry. I am disappointed not to have played at Trent Bridge, but I feel positive about getting back," he added. (ANI)
