They stormed into Salman Khan's brother, filmmaker-actor Arbaaz's birthday bash last night for overstepping the deadline.
The mobile unit of Bandra West police station interrupted actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan's birthday party at a reputed fine dining restaurant, for overstepping the deadline.
Interestingly, it is the same place where Salman got into a bitter spat with actor Shah Rukh Khan apparently over a Bollywood heroine a couple of years back.
The cops retreated when Team Salman along with the hosts apologised to them. "It was not like they had stormed my birthday party. It got a little late at the restaurant. So, when the cops arrived, a lot of our guests were still having their dinner. We were informed that all restaurants need to shut down at a particular time and that we had overstepped the deadline," informs birthday boy Arbaaz.
The cops ordered the loud music be switched off and left with a warning that the party be wrapped up soon. Reportedly, Salman was also there when the cops arrived.
"We moved to Sohail's (Khan's) house from there and the party continued. I had a lovely party. It was good to see all my old friends turn up and wish me. I really felt special," says Arbaaz as he acknowledged that he had a long conversation with filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap with whom he had fallen out lately.
